Northern Lights Private Tour – Back to Iceland
8:30 PM pickup in hotel lobby. 4-5 hours duration.
Transportation will be in a Mercedes Sprinter Mini Bus
Northern Lights– Aurora Borealis is a tour on winter nights, operated ONLY when sky and Aurora conditions are favourable. Charging into the atmosphere some 50+ miles above the earth an aurora display can be a fascinating sight when the conditions are good and the Aurora is near or over Iceland.
We start by driving to our secret spot in the pitch-black interior of Iceland. The Auroras can best be seen far away from the city lights and we will not have to travel far until the mountains provide the shadows we need. On cloudless and clear winter evenings, with luck on our side, we may be able to spot this beautiful and elusive natural phenomenon. Vivid and bright, the dancing northern lights in the Arctic skies are a sight to remember.
NOTE: We will notify by email for cancellation of tour due to bad weather/cloud forecast between 17:00-18:00 on tour date.
If the aurora is not visible during your trip, you are welcome to re-book a free trip at another date.

Admission to the Blue Lagoon is paid and we have tickets for the comfort package which includes admission, towel and first drink free. Price was $78 each
The Blue Lagoon geothermal SPA is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. The SPA is located in a lava field in Grindavíkon the Reykjanes Peninsula, southwestern Iceland.
The geothermal water originates 2,000 meters below the surface, where freshwater and seawater combine at extreme temperatures. It is then harnessed via drilling holes at a nearby geothermal power plant, Svartsengi, to create electricity and hot water for nearby communities.
On its way to the surface, the water picks up silica and minerals, before emerging at a soothing 38-40°C (100-105°F). Perfect for a relaxing and re-energising bathe.
Your transfer has never been easier! We drive you to the Blue Lagoon, we wait for you and drive you back to Reykjavik.
The drive from Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon takes approx 45min, one way.

On this trip you can experience all the best that Iceland has to offer, everything between the mountains and the sea: glacial rivers, beautiful landscapes, wild scenery and two of our most famous places of course, Gullfoss and Geysir.
AtGeysir you will witness a eruption of hot water going almost 20 or so meters up into the air. The whole area is a geological wonder and a trip you will never forget.
Thingvellir is the oldest working parliament in the world. There you will walk on old battle grounds where the vikings fought amongst each other in battle. You will also walk through a geological wonder, a pathway that goes right between the tectonic plates, you will have the europian and american plate on your right and left hand side.
Then a stop atKerid, a volcanic crater lake. That is truly a feast for the eye´s. An interesting place to stop would be at the Earthquake Museumin the village Hveragerdi. On the way back we can also stop at one of oldest and most respectedÁlafoss Wool shop in the town of Mosfellsbaer.
We will also show you many other natural wonders such as the waterfall at Faxi, and conditions allowing it, we’ll try to stop on the way to admire some Icelandic horses.
